The discussion will be centered around the challenges and opportunities in exclusive addiction treatment for women, as well as sharing positive stories on recovery by some of our women alumni members. The annual event is co-hosted by Ecolink Alumni Association.

Women with Substance Use Disorder requires a specialized, exclusive treatment environment for their recovery as they pose unique challenges and problems compared to a male population. In the light of the Colombo Plan’s new curriculum on WISE (Women’s Intervention for Substance Exposure), of which Ecolink is a approved training provider, the panel discussion will also give some light to the forthcoming course on WISE by Ecolink.
