20-hour instructor-led online course

Investment

₹3,500 (India)

$70 (International)

About the Course

Co-occurring medical and mental health disorders are the norm, not the exception, in SUD treatment. This course builds your capacity to identify, assess, and intervene with clients presenting complex comorbid conditions.

What you'll master:

• Recognition and intervention for common co-occurring medical disorders (tuberculosis, hypertension, diabetes, hepatitis, HIV)

• Identification of mental health disorders frequently co-occurring with SUD (depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia spectrum, bipolar, OCD, personality disorders)

• Integrated treatment approaches for dual and multiple diagnoses

Why this matters:

Effective SUD treatment requires competence in recognizing and managing the full spectrum of client health concerns. Unaddressed co-occurring disorders compromise treatment outcomes and increase relapse risk.

Best for:

Counselors and therapists working in settings where clients present with complex, multi-system health challenges.
